The UAB Blazers Football Team represents the University of Alabama at Birmingham in NCAA Division I FBS. Established in 1991, the program was reinstated in 2017 after a brief hiatus, quickly establishing itself as a competitive force. The team has made several bowl appearances and earned a reputation for strong defensive play.
