Protecting Good

The Protecting Good program was launched by Protective to give back to Northside Birmingham residents who live near Protective Stadium. Ongoing activities include neighborhood clean-ups, math tutoring, guest reading at Phillips Academy, health and wellness initiatives, and home repair programs.

Community Programs and Events

Protective’s partnership goes beyond naming the stadium. Within its walls, Protective showcases the work of local nonprofits and creates a community gathering place through special programs and events.

Most Valuable Protector Program

Protective partners with UAB to present the Most Valuable Protector (MVP) at each home football game at Protective Stadium. This program highlights outstanding nonprofits that are passionate about creating the greatest possible impact on the community. 

Trick Or Treat[br] In The Suites

in the Suites

Since 2022, local organizations and neighbors have been invited to trick-or-treat in the stadium’s club-level suites. This community event gives local kids an opportunity to play games, collect candy and show off their Halloween costumes in a safe and inclusive environment.

Protective Stadium served as the perfect location for the Protecting Good Wellness Fair, sponsored by Protective. Access to wellness resources and life-saving education are provided to community members at no cost.

Neighbors come together at Protective Stadium to celebrate the season of giving. Attendees enjoy festive activities and entertainment while shopping for unique holiday gifts from local nonprofits.
